Border Barriers Unveils New Products At Traffex April 16-18

Border Barriers is the UK's leading supplier of pedestrian safety products for hire and sale throughout the UK and Europe and will be using Traffex to showcase its exclusive Rhino water-fill crash tested safety barriers in addition to a wide range of associated products that offer practical safety and security solutions for the traffic management sector, as well as civil works, airports, rail and pedestrian locations. The business has benefitted from double digit growth in the past 12 months as it continues to expand its product range and target new market sectors.

All Border Barriers products are tested and approved to Highways Agency and Chapter 8 standard for road, site, or streetworks safety and most products can be delivered and fully installed nationwide within 24hours if required.

Traffex, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham, will also be used to unveil an innovative range of new self-weighted safety barriers that are specifically designed for quick deployment in freezing conditions, or when water isn't readily available. Being introduced for the first time is GroundProtector, an all weather surface protection system that can be quickly deployed to create an instant roadway for vehicle and pedestrian access over soft ground. Also new is Traffic Sack, an innovative product that is a lightweight and convenient alternative to the traditional sandbag. Border Barriers has also undergone a recent brand makeover, with a new logo, website and brochure creating a fully integrated marketing approach will give the business a stronger presence and enhance its product portfolio.

Border Barriers Managing Director, Philip Armstrong believes that despite a tough economic climate and the constant need for companies to look at cost savings, there is still a 'safety without compromise' approach by all responsible businesses owners. He added 'Traffex is not only an ideal opportunity to launch new products, but also for us to meet both new and existing customers, and understand what their future safety requirements will be. We are also looking to expand our European distribution network and with a large number of oversees visitors expected we hope to make some useful contacts for our new Appointed Distributor programme'.
