Border Barriers were excited after of being asked to supply over 1000m of its unique Rhino Advanced Safety Barrier to one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world – Glastonbury Festival 2013.

It is becoming apparent that safety is at the forefront of every site managers mind whether it is for a construction site, traffic management, event or festival.

The Rhino Advance Safety barrier was the barrier of choice for the Olympic 2012, not only while the games where taking place but also for the construction of the Olympic Park and Village and now for the transformation project.

With this in mind Glastonbury chose to hire the BBS Rhino Advanced Safety System to offer delineation for site traffic but with its robust design and stability it provided protection for festival goers from the site traffic as well.

This is yet another event that has highlighted the Rhino Barriers versatility, it is easy to assemble, an allowance of 216m per load and it doesn’t mind mud which makes it an ideal choice of system for Festivals.

We look forward to supplying other festivals and events in the future.
